RedBrick Pizza

Red Brick Pizza has awesome, delicious gluten-free options and is great for the whole family! A friend let me know this establishment offers gluten-free options after looking for gluten-free restaurants on Urbanspoon. I stopped eating here when I stopped eating gluten, but alas, they now offer gluten-free options so I can enjoy their pizza once again!!

Today I had a great experience there!  I'm often time surprised when employees are knowledgable about the gluten-free products on their menu.  The employee that took my order knew not only where to find the gluten free menu (sometimes, restaurants even struggle with that, and if you've been living g-free, you know that's the truth!), but she also knew how to explain everything from ingredients to prep and bake process to reassure me that it would be as gluten-free as possible!  She even asked me if I was gluten-intolerant when taking my order to make sure that I wasn't just someone who happened to enjoy their gluten-free crust.  I definitely felt comfortable and confident that every precaution was being exercised to make sure I could enjoy a great, gluten-free pizza!!

A little bit about the bake process:  The employee told me that all gluten-intolerant customers have their pizzas baked on a special stone piece that is only used for gluten-free (see above picture).  This avoids the cross-contamination of having it on the same surface as gluten-based crusts they use.

All toppings are gluten-free except for their Thai sauce!  Wow! So many options!! Really you get the same options as every other customer (except for the Thai) because all the toppings (except Thai) are gluten-free!  All gluten-free pizzas come in one size - a small personal size pizza.

Ask to see the gluten-free menu information! It has information about Celiac Disease and what being gluten-free means.  It also explains why RedBrick is considered gluten-free.  Also, as stated on their menu "a portion of every gluten free pizza sold support Team gluten-freeTM scholarships for children on gluten free diets, celiac disease research, support and awareness programs."  WOW! How great!  Also, the gluten-free up-charge is only $1.00 which is a lot less than most places! And some of that is being donated to a good cause :)  They also have gluten-free Gelato dessert options!  Check with an employee to find out which ones are gluten-free!

RedBrick has a great ambience!  There are booths with TV!  Yes, that's right, you can continue watching that show your friends and you love or make sure you don't miss any of the game!  All, while enjoying a great, delicious gluten-free pizza!

I enjoyed a very yummy "Build Your Own" gluten-free pizza with an Olive Oil & Garlic base, mozzarella cheese, and Fire-Roasted Chicken! And I even had leftovers!

RedBrick is currently located in in 6 states: Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, New Mexico, and Texas.  There is also a location in Alberta, Canada.  Click here to find a location near you.

Thank you RedBrick for having gluten-free options!! Those of us Living GFree LOVE pizza!!

  1. Looks delicious G-Free. But all that flour flying around the kitchen? Would make me nervous.
